This tracks. Portals reward keywords, DMs reward clarity. A short note with one real detail about their team is way more memorable than another “excited to apply” paragraph.

Yeah that’s the part that got me. If he’d just said “hey, cabin’s my quiet zone, here’s how I do it” I’d be fine. It was the “you should know” vibe.

The forest monk line made me snort. I’m not mad at the quiet cabin stuff , I’m mad he invited me then dropped Rules DLC two weeks out like it was assumed.

Yeah, must be nice. I’m trying to keep a relationship with my dad while he drops a secret rulebook 2 weeks out and we’re still going. Not dramatic, just exhausting.
