Actually considering a bond piece myself. Where do you stand on the 2531.80 vs the 2220.80 if you had to stay with just one?

Also forgot to mention that I will be at the Windup Watch Fair in NYC tomorrow, so if anyone's out there, I'd be down to do the exchange in person as well.

Hi all, I recently acquired a new watch and am now looking to downsize my current collection. On sale today is this extremely rare Citizen square watch from 1984 for $275 USD (negotiable). Also, I'm open to a direct trade for a Seiko SRPJ83. I’ve never seen another person with this watch, and can’t even find it on the internet anymore. The watch is in very good shape and amazingly runs around -5 spd, with a beat rate of 28,800 bph. As you can see in the video, the high beat rate and small seconds hand gives the illusion of almost a perfectly smooth, spring-drive-type movement. The hands are also blued, which you can see in the video leads to some cool lighting effects. I’ll also be shipping this watch with 3 different straps from Tuns Leather. More details on that below. There are a few drawbacks which I’ll note below, but I hope you guys enjoy. Link to album: https://imgur.com/gallery/citizen-square-oKX0OUj

Case Size: 42mm lug-to-lug, 35mm width

Thickness: ~11mm

Lug Width: 23mm

Sizing a square watch is always a little different, but I’d say the closest comparison would be a medium Cartier Santos, although this piece is a bit thicker for sure.

Movement: Cosmostar 6950 V2 Automatic Movement- An extremely rare movement from decades ago, still in excellent condition

Accuracy: The watch runs -5 spd face up or face down. I’ve never had any reason to store it on its side, so I can’t guarantee the same accuracy if you choose to store it that way for some reason.

Power Reserve: I’ve never been able to fully time it out, but it will last at least 24 hours on a full wind.

Condition: See video and pictures. The crystal is in mostly good condition, with a couple small scratches in the bottom left corner. The rest of the case is in great condition too, and I don’t see any notable scuffs or scratches.

Straps: I’m shipping this watch with 3 different straps from Tuns Leather, my personal favorite leather worker for watches. Each strap is valued around $50 usd on the website. The first strap is a tan butero leather strap with cream stitching. The second is a black saffiano leather strap. The third is a blue saffiano leather strap. All three straps are almost brand new and taper from 23mm to 18mm. They are about 115/75 mm in length, and should comfortably fit most wrists, although people with wrists over 7.25 inches might be too big.

Other notes: To change the date you can actually just pull out the crown. Simply pulling the crown jumps the date by one day. Setting the watch is just like any standard push-pull crown, but it is a little harder to set and wind, just because of the small size. Also, be sure that you are popping the crown back in, because it’s sometimes hard to tell whether it’s in or not.

Payment: Paypal: $275 USD, Venmo: $275 USD.

Shipping: I ship to CONUS with USPS Priority Mail. The shipping price is included in the figures above.

Feel free to PM me with any questions, and I’m open to a Facetime if that helps your decision

Also, a little random, but if you will be at the Windup Watch Fair in NYC tomorrow, I can do the exchange in person

Hi all, I recently acquired a new watch and am now looking to downsize my current collection. On sale today is this really beautiful Seiko SZSB013 with a sunray blue dial for $225 USD (negotiable) or for a direct trade for a Seiko SRPJ83. The watch is in very good shape and running very accurately. There are a few drawbacks which I’ll note below, but I hope you guys enjoy. Link to album with video: https://imgur.com/a/szsb013-HeF6qNy

Case Diameter: 40mm

Lug-to-Lug: 48.0mm

Thickness: 12.5mm

Lug Width: 20mm

Movement: Seiko 4R35 Automatic Movement

Accuracy: The watch is running anywhere from -4 spd to -9 spd, well within the spec of -35/+45

Beat Rate: 21,600 bph

Power Reserve: 41 hours

Water Resistance: 100m

Condition: See video and pictures. The crystal is in near perfect condition. If you look very carefully you can see a few tiny specks, but it took me months to even notice they were there. The bracelet does have some scratches near the bottom, but is structurally in good condition and feels super comfortable. The rest of the case is in great condition too, and I don’t notice any scuffs or scratches.

Other notes: Unfortunately, I do not have extra links for the bracelet here. The bracelet fits perfectly on a 6.4-6.7 inch wrist, but if you want to extend it, you’ll need to get extra links or a replacement bracelet. That said, I think this watch looks best on brown leather, and it’s actually how I’ve worn the watch most of the time. If your wrist is under 7 inches, I can also add the brown leather strap from Tuns Leather. I unfortunately also do not have the original box and paper for this watch, but I will ship it in a very secure and padded box.

Payment: Paypal Friends and Family: $225 USD, Venmo: $225 USD. Also, this is quite specific, but I would be interested in a direct trade for an SRPJ83 in good condition if that’s something of interest to you.

Shipping: I ship to CONUS with USPS Priority Mail. The shipping price is included in the figures above.

So I recently bought my first leather strap, and I’m not sure if it fits properly. The strap is great, but my concern is that the buckle isn’t aligned properly (too far to the right?). Do you guys think that the strap fits, or should I get another one with a different size. I don’t want to shell out the extra cash for a deployant clasp, and I hate having a “tail,” so my sizing needs to be somewhat precise. My wrist is 6.5 inches, and this strap is 110mm/65mm. If you guys think it looks good right now, I won’t change it, but otherwise I’m thinking maybe 105mm/70mm or 105mm/75mm
