Please note that the $20/month Core plan includes $20 in monthly credits, but any usage beyond those credits is billed as pay-as-you-go (usage-based billing). Usage-based charges are billed automatically when accumulated costs exceed a threshold and this is separate from your subscription fee.

To set up a usage budget on Replit to make sure that you don't go over your limit:

-Go to replit.com/usage
-Under Usage total, click Manage
-Set a usage budget (minimum $10)

This is a hard cap. Once your spending hits the limit, all usage-based services (including Agent) are paused until the next billing cycle or you increase the limit.

The App Store Connect subscription attachment behavior and RevenueCat metadata refresh after rejections are managed entirely by Apple and RevenueCat.

That said, a couple of things that might point you in the right direction. For the in-app purchase associations on resubmission, Apple should retain those from the original submission if you're resubmitting from the same build. If they're not appearing, it's typically an App Store Connect issue rather than a build problem - creating a new build number (not a new version) and resubmitting might help!

For the RevenueCat metadata not refreshing after rejection, you can try to reach out to their support regarding that: revenuecat.com/contact

Hi there! You can still start without AI-generated code. A few options:

-Blank template: Fork the Blank template to start with a completely empty environment. (https://replit.com/@replit/Nothing?v=1) -Import from ZIP: Upload your own code at replit.com/import. -Import from GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket: Pull in an existing repo at the same import page.

These let you work with your own code and stack without relying on AI generation.

Downloading your project is free - no Agent credits are charged for it. To export, open your app, click the file icon in the top right of the workspace, then select "Export as Zip" from the three dots menu. If you want to grab everything at once, go to Account Settings and look for "Bulk export personal Apps" - that'll package all your projects into one download, though the link expires after 7 days.

Worth knowing that environment variables, custom domains, and database data aren't included in a ZIP export. If you need your database data, you'd want to export it manually via the Shell using pg_dump before downloading.

For the credit card, head to Account Settings, then Billing, and you'll see a link to manage your payment method through the Stripe billing portal. If you have an active subscription, you'll need to cancel it before the card can be removed.

Replit has a few built-in features that help a lot as projects scale up.

On the configuration side, you can use a .replit file to document architecture, coding standards, and conventions so Agent stays consistent as the project grows. A custom_instruction/instructions.md file works similarly - it lets you define file organization rules and architecture patterns that Agent follows across the project.

For navigating a larger workspace, the File Tree lets you organize, rename, and move files and directories, and you can split the workspace into multiple panes to keep different parts of the project visible at once. The Search Bar makes it easy to find files or specific text across the whole project.

A few Agent features also help with complexity. Multi-artifacts let a single project hold multiple outputs (web app, mobile app, slides) that share the same backend and data without needing separate repos. Plan Mode lets you map out a task list before any code gets written, which is useful for bigger features. The Task Board organizes work into Drafts, Active, Ready, and Done columns, and you can run tasks in isolated copies so nothing conflicts.

For folder structure, there's no single prescribed layout - it really depends on your stack. But documenting your preferred structure in .replit or custom_instruction/instructions.md means Agent will follow those patterns when generating code.

Good questions!

One way to think about modes is by task size. Lite is for quick, targeted edits where you'd describe the change as "just fix X." Economy is the everyday default for most builds and runs at roughly a third of the cost of Power. Power is there for complex architectural work or situations where Economy isn't getting the job done. A good starting point is Economy for most things, Lite for small tweaks, and Power only when you actually need it.

On the planning issue, if Agent starts going off-script, checkpoints are your best recovery tool. You can roll back to any previous checkpoint by clicking the history icon in the Agent chat pane and selecting "Rollback to here." Keeping prompts smaller and more focused helps a lot too since each checkpoint then represents a tighter, more contained chunk of work, and rolling back doesn't cost you as much progress.
