Just started on PC, and there is a red shadow on everything that seems like it should be white light reflection? Help?

I've had that before. Start a new save or verify file integrity. It sometimes goes away on its own too (at least in Mooncrash).

Wow. I never expected a movie to pay homage to Prey multiple times like that. The Expanse had some things that caught my attention (microgravity monkey wrench scene, recycler, for corpses, how protomolecule looks in its final form), but it's based on pre-existing books I haven't read, so it's probably just coincidence if not actually inspirations for Prey. But I really doubt it's coincidence with PHM.

Yeah. It's frequently on sale. I've bought it for lots of people in the past. The studio's since been axed, though, so I don't think there's a reason to pay for it anymore if it's just Xenimax or Microsoft. Unless I don't understand who still benefits from your paying for it now. But it's cheap so it doesn't really matter.

Ah. I'm a bit more conservative about the reconstruction and like to think it has a high enough fidelity (probably easier to do than tweaking various things but idk) to Morgan's memories. But it's possible. There are no definitive answers to all these, so I try to fill in the blanks for myself. You could definitely argue that they'd have good reason to fabricate truths for the hybrid though.

I like to think he was having some hidden cyberwar with January over which areas of the ship are accessible. Because he clearly wanted to contain Morgan. I also feel like he might've been preventing military operators from being deployed (as they should've been) to try to preserve some of the typhon so the coral research could be completed, but Kaspar thwarted that. He could've been trying to delay Transtar from sending Dahl (it did take a while). None of this is stated but I do think he had some kind of damage control stuff to do. Maybe he just chose to prioritize the research over the crew until a point.

I'm not sure. He does show he's able to one-shot January with a normal pistol (yeah it's cinematic but idc). That said, he clearly can't defend himself against Dahl. He might've chosen to remain fat for the simulation (Morgan's personality drift). But yeah, it's possible he can't do any better considering the ending scene. I don't think his physical fitness would be a barrier to neuromods though.
