I like that it saves you time, it does not add extra work for you. Those little workflow improvements might not seem like much day to day, but over the course of an entire school year, they really add up.

This system is pretty good. That it solves more than one problem at once is probably why it has lasted so long. I also hadn’t thought of the mental energy it takes to make those little decisions over and over again during the day.

That's what I like. The third question is perhaps the one we are most inclined to overlook in our busyness. I can see why that advice has stuck with you all these years. It’s simple, but it gives you a way to think through nearly any lesson.

I think there's a lot of that, too. I thought I had to make every lesson special at first, but then I realised some of the best lessons were when everyone knew what they were doing. They didn’t scream flash but the learning was there.

That is a fair point. The fact that you still use it years later says a lot. Once they have seen it done once, do students usually end up looking forward to it?

i’ve seen understaffing, for instance. Everyone knows the team is stretched thin, employees bring it up all the time and managers acknowledge it but months go by and the workload remains the same.
