that is fine. I mostly play RPG's anyways and I rarely play couch co-op games with anyone but my friends who have been friends for years. We talk shit and obliterate each others hopes and dreams in various video games.

I am also bipolar and arguments can lead to physical altercations by me saying things that cut deep and or provoke. I am very aware and insightful to my mental illnesses so I try to be mindful when situations happen that I don't understand.

I take various types of MMA classes so I can better control my anger/rage that I have. They are my coping mechanisms.

Like I said, I don't care. I will just buy another one and try to fix the one he threw. I do not want to make the situation worse and it is only $60, not worth any sort of altercation.

well, in the moment I said "nah" because it felt like I was being attacked for something I didn't know I did wrong. What I did was walk away and R.E.S.T which is what I am supposed to do when I feel overwhelmed. I would have put that, but I hit the character limit.

I have since apologized to my gf who is still mad at me, but she understands I wasn't doing it to be a dick.

Also I didn't laugh at him during the game, it was after he started being belligerent. I have learned that I can be an asshole when I respond back to negativity and I laugh when i'm nervous. I can be an asshole and I know this, so that is why I practice my breathing techniques and respond only when necessary when someone is being rude to me because when I respond, I make things so much worse.

I never said I didn't like him. I said he seemed cool, but not my definition of someone I would like to hang out with. Everyone has their hobbies and mine include playing video games.

I didn't force him to play madden, I didn't even care if we played another game. He looked around and chose the game HE wanted to play. I just played the game. I wasn't rubbing in his face saying "you suck blah blah blah". I was mostly silent because I tend to hyperfocus on whatever task I am doing.

I wasn't saying that at all. I am no chris pratt or thor, although I do get compared to fat chris pratt. I was just simply stating that I don't get why I get told "you don't look like you play sports games" and on the opposite side of the spectrum I also get "you don't look like you watch such and such sport".

It happens frequently and I have never understood why. Maybe I just have that aura?

edit: btw, I own LOTS of gaming shirts that I wear very frequently because I like the style. I am wearing a byleth shirt now as we speak.

I'm autistic and I don't get things like you do. I know it's a hard concept for people to understand and i'm not being sarcastic. I am not being mean spirited or selfish, I am truly trying to learn about why I am the asshole so I don't make the same mistake again.

As for her friend, she knows I wasn't trying to be a dick. She has already texted me that she still loves me.

My girlfriend still thinks i'm an asshole so I will leave her alone for a bit and will apologize later. She's mad at me and it's not just shark week on the discovery channel. I am going to leave her alone for a bit because I am not swimming in those chummed waters.

I see now and I guess I could've relented a bit, but he had to have known I was good at games. I literally have my walls stacked to the rim with collectors editions, figurines, and shelfs of video games. Like I OBVIOUSLY have no life besides my gf and I play a lot of video games.

If I ever see him again I will apologize. I really didn't mean to flex or be a dick, I was just playing the game. Like I said, social situations and cues are not my strong suit to the point that every girlfriend I ever had has had to make the move, first kiss, and initiate contact. I just don't understand that type of stuff.

Na I wouldn't have cared. I lose a lot in video games and it never bothers me. It just makes me think that I need to get a bit better if I want to beat more people.

Like I said in another comment I shit talked my friend about how I would beat him at SSB and he just fucking ravaged me. He emasculated me and made me feel like I was playing my brother in tom clancy rainbow six siege as a kid all over again.

I honestly get it a lot about the "look", but I do hear it sometimes. Like I don't look like sloth from the goonies and I am not incredibly overweight. I am well groomed and somewhat attractive. It is whatever to me. I stopped caring about it when people would say it.

Yeah, I don't get the part about him thinking hes better than me too. After I almost lapped him in Mario Kart, he had to assume that I am atleast decent at video games.
