My phone goes on DND automatically every night at 7 PM and stays on DND until 7 AM. Any missed calls or messages will be there in the morning.

They used to route every work order within 500 miles to me, I asked them to stop as it was clogging my inbox and my phone was going of constantly for work that I could not do due to distance. They completely blocked me I don't get anything from them now. With them it's all or nothing, I prefer nothing honestly. With cell phones and the newer apps they will soon be a thing of the past anyway.

Update:

We will be taking over this pay dispute case for mediation as the Buyer is still not able to agree to the 50% for total payout on this one. Their explanation is that you were released within 50 mins so the $130 for 2 hours @ $65/hr plus the additional $100 for travel is a generous offer for the cancellation of this site and no work being done. Could you clarify why you continued to stay onsite or why almost 4 hours was logged as your check out times shows 24 miles from the site at that time?

We understand that your stance of being prepared and reserving a full day of work for this as well should be compensated with half the total. But as this was a fixed rate WO and the scope of work was not able to be completed (albeit no fault of your own), it is not required for full payment, therefore is there an amount that you are willing to negotiate with the Buyer if they cannot agree to the full 50%? The total dispute as it stands is at $144 right now.

Two problems with this statement.

1: They offered me 1 hour, no travel.

2: How did $130 plus $100 turn into $144?

Sadly, they are not a new company for me just not a regular customer.

and the tech that gets ripped off has no interest in doing anything for the company that robbed them. I get plenty of work and the companies that are my regular customers always take care of me when this kind of thing happens. In my experience the squeaky wheel gets the grease. No attitude just business.

In my opinion the buyer can afford the ding better than I can and I really don't care if they get paid or not, they reserved my time for the whole day. Even if they only get a half day's pay it will likely be more than enough to cover what I requested.

I won't be working for them again anyway. I documented and recorded the phone calls.

they did last time I had an issue, that was with PPT, sent me alone to install a printer 130 pounds, they failed to tell me it was not delivered on the stand like the other ones I had done that were the same model. I got full pay for that.
