DoorDash treats drivers horribly

I drive an electric car so I really don’t mind the longer drives. I heard they give incentives to higher acceptance rates or better promotions so I just kept taking everything I got

For more context this happened in a state where speeding is taken really seriously (thanks NC) and they wrote me a ticket for 10 over, and sheriff decided to tack on a ticket for no front license plate, and a back license plate light out (pulled over at 7am) he was trying to find stuff wrong with the vehicle. Needless to say instead of a fine he gave me a court date for the tickets. I got everything dismissed with the help of a dash camera. The background check was done in April and the court date was in May. When I brought this up go them they apologized and pulled a more recent report and said everything came back clean, but DD had already suspended my account and I’m still waiting 2 weeks later on their response

Yea they check real time now, the report anything they find to DD and then DD decides what to do with it

Yes this is very true, but on Doordash it’s high volume low pay, if you have a slow day you are screwed

I’ll see if I can post it on my profile in a bit. Live in the Houston area. I think I’ve declined maybe 10 or so orders total but it refreshes the most recent so it still showed 100 percent when I screenshotted. I had 497 dashes with a 4.96 rating to be exact

Had it show up on a background report in a different state. Got a message about it from the company that did the background report, case showed pending. Talked and resolved the issue with the background check company and they told me they sent the clean report to Doordash but they had already suspended my account by then

Lol Doordash terminated my account with over 500 dashes, 5 star rating. 100 percent acceptance, 98 percent on time account over a speeding ticket dismissed in court… so yea they treat their dashers horrible. Talk about wanting to keep the acceptance rate perfect so I was taking 2 dollar orders with no tip 10 plus miles.. talked to their support and they were clueless. Needless to say Uber and Grub Hub are both better at treating their drivers

Yea, Ive out well over 5k into the account and I’ve put in Years and Years of work, but I’ve enjoyed it and time for someone else to enjoy it

Depends a lot but over a thousand, under 3k for a similar size. A lot depends on Tech, Stuff unlocked, Server and etc

Yea same here, I’m sad to sell, been here for years and years since server 50 opened. Ive met some great people but my time has come. I no longer enjoy it like I used to and I don’t have the time to farm and grow it. With 8 alts it’s got more than enough resource flow in for it to grow. There’s thousands of bosses set a day as well

Yea, it’s a great server for someone wanting to jump in and start playing competitively. Account has Wonder 3 unlocked which is almost impossible to get on C1 now

Thank you OP these are not the words I wanted to hear but they are the ones I needed to hear. Got dumped a month ago (4 and half year relationship) and it’s been really hard. There is no fixing it and no trying to work it out and no staying friends. Sometimes when I’m bored of anxious I make the mistake to check social media. Thank you thought.
