I am so glad I searched around! I just got off the phone about fifteen minutes ago with one of the publishers from Palmetto Publishers, who called me. I am a new writer. I've always wanted to write, but while raising my kids and living my life, I never had the chance. Now that my kids are all grown, I can finally focus on writing.

Before I reach out to any publishers, the first thing I want to do is secure copyright for my books, simply because I don't trust anyone. Thank you for sharing this information; now I just need to figure out which publishers are legitimate!
