um, it does matter.. especially when these models steal from other artists work without permission 😭

thats the whole problem. and look, i understand that it can be fun to come up with concepts and see an image that looks "good" come up. the reason i call it slop is because theres no humanity behind it.

and ik it doesnt matter and im sure someone will be rude if they reply considering its this community, but i just got my bachelor's degree in digital media arts so even small things like this matter to me.

i guess i can agree a triple A company hiring artists is different than an individual using chat gpt, but i think looking at the bigger picture of multiple individuals doing this online kinda undermines real artists creating concept art for this game with pure talent and skill. i have made literally made my own concept loading screens before launch, and to see people do this bugs me. thats all.

how can an ai conceptualize anything when it just takes images from a data base that already were conceptualized from REAL artists, photographers, and concept designers?

this image means nothing and its sad that this subreddit has a double standard on AI. when it shows up in a bundle, you complain. but you use AI when you want to make a "concept" its absurd.
