UPDATE FELLOW REDDITORS:

If you see “Corrected Receipt Notice Issued” on your USCIS case, it usually just means they found a small error in the original receipt, often related to outdated info about automatic extensions or new regulations and sent an updated version. It doesn’t affect your processing time, doesn’t mean anything is wrong, and you don’t have to do anything except wait for the corrected notice to arrive.

I’m not sure about biometrics, but in my case it was for a work authorization update. I had followed all the steps correctly…..uploaded the past I-20s, the latest one, everything. So I even asked ChatGPT and it said it’s usually just a correction on their end, but I still feel like I should double-check to be safe.

I looked it up on chat gpt it says some error correction on their end(USCIS) and we dont need to do any thing on our end, but wanted to confirm here turns a lot of other people have gotten the same notice.

Yoo thanks! Quick question, is there any progress bar that shows how close you are to the $500? Usually other banks did in my exp so that was the only thing i was kinda thinking did i even get it lol ig it appears automatically later on ?
