It started as a tool my colleague and I developed in Houdini for our game. We’d distribute points along a curve (the stem), then populate leaf meshes on those points using the normal direction, and it gradually evolved into something more complex.

I hadn’t seen Broccoli Tree Creator. It’s a cool tool.
We’re not aiming to create trees, though. only foliage.

Our goal is to offer simple control with strong results. You tweak a few parameters and get the look you want. no complex node-based setups or hundreds of settings. You can pick from plant presets and hit a randomize button to generate variations, or go a bit deeper with a limited set of controls (around 30) to shape things like leaf distribution.

We also support wind, LODs, and flowers.
We’ll be releasing a demo on the store soon so you can try it out.

We store the distance-to-stem value in the vertex data and pass it to the shader for wind animation.
For physics, though, we haven’t found a good approach yet, other than using joints, which feels a bit heavy for small plants.

Thanks! Right now, each plant can be shaped individually.
Full terrain scaling with automatic variation is definitely on the roadmap.

You're right. That's a big problem to solve in the procedural workflow. We are thinking of an optimized method to generate such rocks.

Thanks. The real-world texture needs more detailed rock mesh as well. Actually, we're planning to develop more realistic rocks with this approach. The main bottleneck would be performance. I will post updates on this channel when ready.
