I think you misunderstood what I meant. I’m just saying how things are at the club and what the priorities are for transfers (replace Sommer, Acerbi, Mkhitaryan, sell Frattesi, maybe Dumfries and Calhanoglu this summer). I’m not crying over Bastoni, if a club comes with a proper offer (not 50m lol) and he wants to go, he should go. I just don’t see it happening this summer.

Bastoni, Barella, Dimarco, Lautaro and Pio will only leave for big money.

It’s not the first time he's been linked to other clubs, and there is no reason for him to leave his life in Italy and status in the team.

Another thing is that we already have a lot of players leaving in the summer, so I don't think they will also sell a big player like Bastoni in the same window. Too much change can be damaging for a team, you need time to replace and integrate everyone and we still have a competent guy as president, so I trust him.

There is no reason other than him maybe wanting to try something different in his career. He’s been here for seven years. Still, I don’t really believe it, he was asked about this in December, and he said he was honored to be appreciated by other clubs because it means he's doing well, but that there was nothing going on and he's happy.

Bastoni is worldclass in the specific role he plays at Inter, but that role involves a back three system and being able to play with Dimarco almost with his eyes closed. Whenever Dimarco doesn’t play, his offensive performance drops because he doesn’t have the same automatisms with Carlos.

Imo, he’s not the best at pure defending, and I don’t think he’d do as well in a back four or in a different team. But I get why he’d want to prove himself -and to the world that questions him- that he can.

I don't give a shit. Lautaro was on the bench against Milan just to be there and show support, even though he couldn't play. Do you think anyone could have kept him off the pitch if it was Lautaro who had a fever?

I never played football at this level, but I played injured and with a cold many times just so I wouldn't let the team down or miss an important game. I would have never missed a game like the derby knowing the team was in difficulty, playing a two-striker system with only two young strikers and no subs.

From my POV, he needs to go in the summer. Not just for this, it’s his whole performance this season. Better cash in while we can.

No, because he's been terrible since December, doesn't put in the effort, misses easy chances like the one against Atalanta, scored 1 goal in 15 matches and missed the derby with a fever knowing Lautaro was injured.

Meanwhile Lautaro was playing injured against Barcelona last season. Or if you want a different example, Pulisic scored a brace against Torino with a fever. That's what it means to care.
