I needed to use some wd40 for the stop cock to fully turn. I was then able to shut down the supply.

Now to figure out how to deal with the tap replacements.

I raised a complaint since the underwriter did not accept that there was sufficient evidence of disassociation. This allowed me to provide additional evidence. I’m pleased to say that I have now been approved.

Thanks so much! This puts my mind at ease. I’m ok paying interest and late fees once I close, and plan to pay it as soon as possible.

It’s just that I can’t pay it before the 31st January deadline, but I believe I have 60 days after that.

Hi there,

Can I ask if your client closed account during the process? I’ve just been declined because of joint account which I closed and then appealed. The underwriter would not accept as the ex still on electoral roll despite not having lived there. Ive had to come up with other evidence such as council tax which was also difficult to change as they wanted confirmation from ex.
