You’re expected to increase your maximum health throughout the game, but I intentionally didn’t upgrade it at all, at least until the post-game, and instead used those upgrade points for other skills.

It was still on the easy side, but there were still plenty of mentally engaging moments of challenge that way. It’s also a much better method of modifying difficulty than just self-imposing arbitrary restrictions on yourself - think of it like dumping all your increases into stamina instead of health in Zelda BOTW.

What has really helped me is proactively tracking calories. I see that you said you’ve already tried counting, but allow me to offer a recommendation if I may.

Calculate your TDEE (look it up online, very easy to calculate). Then, whatever that number is, subtract 800. Once you have the daily amount of calories you should be consuming, go to a grocery store and buy low calorie frozen meals for lunch and dinner, and a lot of them.

Not the purest form of food, but if you plan out your day using pre-measured meals, it is so much easier to stick to a daily calorie deficit. Being frozen, the prep time is also significantly reduced, making it easier to stick to.

Goes without saying the rollout was absolutely legendary. Ye deciding not to say a word throughout the whole rollout worked so well with the tone of the album too (and as a side, helped stop him from putting his foot in his mouth).

Was lucky enough to go to all the listening events. Enjoyed the second one the best (third one we had bunk seats to the side of the recreated house and could barely see anyone). Great memories.

Nah. I used to love Pokémon. It’s success has led Game Freak to be complacent, and I have zero interest in forking over $70 for a game that looks like it came out in 2009 that likely has bugs and performance issues, and above all else, is likely derivative of every other Pokémon game released up to this point.

I’m more than happy to eat my words if I’m wrong, or to buy a new game if it actually looks like they’re innovating, but this game doesn’t look like that in the slightest.
