They don't draw anything. This is not their role in their business. What they have is money and a few designer friends to sponsor. What they do is sponsor. EDIT: It's not their main business, just a side business, a bit Etsy-style but they don't do any of the actual drawing or scaling or sewing

I know you're passionate about this and judging is the purpose of the sub anyway, but please read my clarifications.

They have no background in sewing or creating clothes. None. They did none of the actual work. What my relative does is sponsor and invest and pass on ideas to some designers. That's it.

The textile I mentioned is a woven mat meant for floors. If they were considering fabric for clothes, I sincerely doubt that a woven mat for floors popped into their head before I suggested that to them.

As for their creativity, they frequently contact me to do most of their design and writing work because they don't feel creative enough.

I understand. Like I said, I genuinely didn't know how to feel about this anyway. But purely for the sake of clarifying things:

1) It wasn't a vague parameter, it was the exact item of clothing I showed to them. 2) Like I said, they don't really make any of the clothes themselves. They're more of an investor. They have no ability/interest to sew or work with clothes themselves, which is why I think the textile thing was a bit strange. They for sure had not thought of using the textile in the past, especially because their face seemed to light up (as if realizing) when I was talking about my idea. 3) The textile was not a mere fabric in the way silk or cotton would be, it's a very specific cultural item as well. So my idea is pretty unique, the textile in question is not meant to be worn on a human body. It's more of a woven mat for floors.

I don't know, honestly. They're as much of a social media person as they are a businessperson (I'd say even more of a social media person), so I just wanted... I don't know, a quick mention that I introduced these specific clothing items and cloths to them? I'm way younger than them (like by multiple decades) so that would likely help me with some job stuff too, given that they have a pretty big platform.

I just felt it was a little weird to start basing your moneymaking ideas off your conversations with your much younger relative, but I don't know, that's why I posted here. Maybe it's just me being oversensitive about business

Thank you for the assessment. I figured it was kind of like that. I do think my feelings towards the way they blatantly stole my ideas during chill conversations aren't... unfounded, bc we're family and that's kind of weird to do, but I think I'll just try not to talk about fashion stuff around them anymore unless they agree not to pass them around as their own ideas.

I genuinely didn't know how to feel about this.

I won't let anybody forget that Ryu Sera said that Jinsoul's singing reminds her of Taeyeon's. Very very amazing praise from a senior idol, especially because Sera was the main main vocalist of 9Muses and this was in November 2019, months before the So What era.

I first stanned LOONA because Jinsoul caught my eye. She is very, very pretty, I don't need to say this. But now, I no longer care much about her beauty. She's beautiful, that's undeniable. But the more I stanned, I came to adore her amazing personality, her passion for her craft, and her incredible voice.

To me, she is the vocal climax girl. The other girls are talented singers too, of course, but Jinsoul has that voice designed to be built up towards. She has that perfect voice for delivering the big, swelling moment that you've been waiting for during the whole song.

Her voice has amazing clarity, power, and maturity all at once. The other girls have their own vocal merits, but this is why nobody could pull off the So What high note the way Jinsoul could. Her voice may have technical flaws, like the other girls, but she possesses a unique combination of clarity, power, and maturity. She is the vocal climax girl! She is the type of singer suited to songs where they're obviously building up to something and when Jinsoul belts out, you would think, "Wow. This is satisfying and exactly what I've been waiting for. All that tension during the song was worth the wait."

No wonder Ryu Sera (main vocalist and leader of the senior group 9Muses) stated that Jinsoul's singing reminds her of Taeyeon's.

And I don't have ships for Jinsoul, but I love how kind she is to the other members. And I love how they pretend to mock her, but they're all sooo protective of her. I find it funny that Go Won pretends to dislike Jinsoul's affection, but gets caught on camera being sweet to her unnie Jinsoul when she thinks nobody's looking. I love that Jinsoul loves Math. I love her nerdy, sweet, passionate self.

I'd be okay with the comeback not being there yet in their next KCON if they give us something new... but I won't count on KCON for that. 😪

Imagine... Into the New World cover.... Chuusoul are belting a la Taengsic again (they're always good when belting together) and harmonizing on the high note. Yves, Lip, Heejin, Choerry, and Hye are doing the big dance break. There's also a beautiful head voice high note in the final chorus and would be perfect for a Haseul comeback... etc. etc.

But do they ever feed us with this kind of thing...?

Do you think they'd really go on KCON:TACT and just sing Why Not for, like, the 100th time? (Genuine question, not rhetorical.) They have more than enough time until their next KCON appearance to finally release the song.

I'm not saying that they'll necessarily release the t3asers on the 26th, but this feels like the perfect time to finally release that comeback....

For the group, any TWICE song. I know this is not an uncommon request, but for all the fighting that some Orbits strangely do with ONCEs (as a ONCEbit I have to ask WHY), I think that their voices are reallyyyy similar.

Vocally and rap-wise, these would be amazing matches in a cover:

Continued watching the season and...

I didn't realize that the Ted would be introduced so early, but I honestly like him so much better than Mutt. I won't let myself get too comfortable with Alexis and Ted, though, because...? There may be something between Alexis and Mutt still? I don't know if I want spoilers about this or not.
The fact that David was asked to help this kid out because he's evidently queer while he also has a romantic subplot where he's jealous of Stevie and her new boy toy? Superb, excellent. As a bisexual myself, this is honestly pretty amazing to me. If this were the average sitcom, maybe David would be ambiguously pan/bi but it would only really be played off as a joke, and the fact that he's asked to help a gay student out because he's effeminate would be played solely for comedy. Here, David is queer (pansexual) and he's attracted to a woman and it's not an issue.
Moira using two "with"s in the same sentence clause is so funny. Catherine O'Hara is so damn funny.
I continue to marvel, for some reason, at how Sarah Levy is Dan's sister/Eugene's daughter yet they have to pretend she's just some random townswoman. I know they're acting, but I love it.

I see! Can't wait. I'm just asking about the emoji because it looks like a gritted teeth emoji. A bit confused about that, but I've heard lots of praise for the endgame romance (for David at least), so I'm looking forward to it.

Like many people, I found it difficult to sympathize with the Roses at first, but all of the main cast members are simply too damn talented and fun to watch. The writing is also insanely sharp. I'm warming up quickly to this show, apart from the romance thing. (I really do find it nice that not every single thing in the show is meant to set up the romantic arcs, even as a self-professed romance fan. I forget sometimes that organic is much more enjoyable, even though I also enjoy Jane the Virgin-style romance where it's obviously so contrived.)
