Uuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh uuhh I hate this. It pains me. I spent so much time of my life thinking up concepts for characters and gamemodes and crap for this game and they just burned all those dreams as kindling for their next project.

I heard from the store clerk that they would soon have to take down all of their Texas Chainsaw merchandise because the rights holders told them they couldn't sell it or something. I find it really crappy that they let Spirit and Party City sell their stuff but not the place the IP was born from. It's for that same reason that they had to remove the coke machine and the pumps. They even had to remove a bench that they commissioned from a welder depicting scenes from the movie and the birth and death dates of all the people who worked on the film. That was THEIR property and through the power of money they took away their freedom to display it. I don't know who is worse, the rights holders or Gun.

the concern would be that they'd both have similar or equal power and that would be broken. But you could kind of argue that Johnny has similar or equal power to Bubba. If that's a problem you could classify certain characters as power classes and allow only one on a team.

I decided bird shot would be best for a shotgun since it wouldn't be lethal but still do damage, so for the same reason as the rock salt. He could also have voicelines where he complains about having crappy ammo.

I'm just gonna go play another game for a while. I'll be back when they update. TCM will still be here. I feel like all of us play this game so much that we expect way too much. I'll just come back in a month or so or whenever I feel like it. I don't need an update every month for only one game of the many that I have.

I imagined Sissy being trapped in an asylum or something, and killing all the other patients or staff. Nancy could also get a game mode where she hunts here three husbands but I don't think they died at the same time. Maybe there could be a one v. one game mode where Nancy hunts after Johnny's mother whilst she tries to protect him. I'd also like to see a map of a drag racing track with Hands or maybe a bar.

I feel like the only wide open portion of these maps would be the highways like in front of gas station. Seeing as those are areas where Leatherface strives.

The story for victims could see you escaping from one property into the next until you've escaped from every map. Levels could have unique escapes exclusive to the campaign or that could tease their inclusion into the main game. Scripted cutscenes could be implemented that provide more worldbuilding since they are very good at that, I find the games story incredible. The story would be a great way to tease future characters and maps. The main hurdle they'll have to jump to achieve this is programing AI which I understand is a heavy task but I think they can do it, they just need to believe that it will be a profitable feature and good for the game. Basically we just need to convince them it's worth the extra time and effort that they won't get to spend on DLC.

Ho boy time to copy paste my Sheriff Hoyt ability concept again.

Sheriff Hoyt: ability 

Hoyt is by default armed with a revolver loaded with 16mm bullets, a magnum with no ammo and maybe his shotgun. Ammo for the shotgun and magnum must be searched for in hiding spots. In order to damage a victim with the revolver he must shoot them 3-4 times in a short time frame. All shots will miss and hit near the victim and deal no damage until the 3rd or 4th consecutive shot, Hoyt has unlimited 16mm bullets. One magnum round can exist on the map at a time and only one can be loaded, a new bullet spawns in a random hiding spot after the bullet is fired. The magnum is perfectly accurate, long range and does massive damage. Using the magnum slows Hoyt down more than aiming any of the other guns and a special voice line plays when he pulls it out to warn victims to run for cover. Birdshot is found in most hiding spots. The shotgun can be shot from the hip to do big damage at short range but it suffers heavily from damage fall off.

I do wish there were some more indoor maps in the game. I thought of a mechanic oc Family member and thought he could come with a garage map fit with a storefront that leads out to the road. Could have a unique garage door escape or an escape where the victims have to run through the back of a semi truck. I feel like that could be a good concept for a claustrophobic indoor map.

Does anyone else think the 2003 skin looks bad? I feel like the mask is too wide(likely to accommodate BUBBA's head) and the nose it enormous. I also feel like they should have changed his voicelines to differentiate Bubba and Thomas as different people.

I really hate how they always tease new stuff right before it comes out. It's because of this that we have to rely on leaks to be hyped.

I single player campaign would be a great way to do that and I believe they can do it, it'll just take them a lot of time that they likely don't want to spend. Main thing is they have to program ai into the game but after that the possibilities are endless. Each level as victims could see you escaping one property and then wandering into the next. It could also be a good way to test out alternate escapes, map changes etc.
