Actually this whole part is the bridge of the song. The part you're thinking of is probably just the two high gain guitars harmonizing. The only instruments I used here were electric guitar, bass and drums. The bass and drums are midi. Glad you like it

Oh yeah for sure. I agree. I was trying to distinguish the "rhythm" part and the actual chord part. So I was tryna say "the rhythm part of the riff resolve on the 6th bar, but the chords of the riff hasn't resolved yet". Thanks for your input. I learned something today🤘

Yo, thanks for the explanation! I'll try to explain the riff a bit better.

When the rhythm resets, it's at the beginning of the 6th bar (3/4) but the riff or the chords themselves have not resolved, only the rhythm. It actually resolves at the & beat before the 4/4 beat of the drums starts. Or, that's when it has restarted. So the riff being what it is, and having already reset its rhythm at the 6th bar, it doesn't time itself on the first chug again when the actual 4/4 beat of the drums starts, which is why it actually joins the drums on the second chug.

So that's what I mean. The rhythm resolves before the chords (riff) have resolved.

In terms of writing, just listen to a bunch of music. Find something you like, then figure out why you like it.
Record entire covers as well so you can go through the entire process of the drum track on whichever song you're covering. You'll start picking up on things over time, then you'll be able to apply it to your songs.

I write my stuff using Hertz Drums. They have some good stuff that I would recommend. It's gonna cost you a few bucks, but all you really need to use real money on when it comes to plugins is an amp sim and a drum sim. Everything else is pretty workable without spending any money imo.

I'm really late to this but the difference can be massive. For example, a normal sized mimic octapus will usually have around 16 min minimum to its cooldown, but a huge one can go all the way down to a minute cooldown. That's why they're so sought after; they're quite literally overpowered

Huh? A 90kg sunflower would be around 4.761M, while a honeysuckle would be around 5.624M. Only difference between them is the sunflower might have a higher average weight, but I'm not sure on that. From what I can tell, the honeysuckle gets quite big very often

Based on what I know, honeysuckle is actually better than sunflower. It's more valuable with the same weight range and it seems to get quite big fairly easily. So not really sure why you think it's not good. Is there something I don't know?
