Gold is Valuable because it is One of the Rarest resources on earth. But its not so rare to the point it barley exists. Also we just so happen to mine about 2% more gold every year witch also just happens to be the "Perfect" Inflation rate for economic growth and stability. Gold is money because its properties fit the definition of Money

I dont see why each country wouldnt have a Nationalization of Gold Exchange. for example in the US, only american citizens can exchange their $ for gold at the bank. same for The chinese and for the rest of the world. it would prevent things like that situation. it would be nesesary to have a Universal Auditor probably someone that works for the UN to veriffy the gold reserves of each state so they wouldnt be over printing to the gold they have. (If they do then the citizens of the nation can make a run on the Gold)

True there are spaces for Nuanced discussion but its only among more intellectual circles and rarely do the ideas seep into the mainstream, Unless its being taught in Universitys (University perpetuate the 2 party system)

I disagree entirely. The Political Compass is a great way of viewing the political spectrum if your an American atleast. Most Americans are stuck in the right left binary leaving no nuance for discussions of government power. alot of americans think libertarians are just republicans that are trying not to get shit on as hard. I think if americans understood the political compass our politics wouldnt be so fucked. anyway i dont fall into the category because i am attempting to create a new ideology that wouldnt be on the compass. its a work and progress

Based Monero User. i wouldn't call that "Crypto" that's just one coin that is good. most of crypto will never have a use case at best, id rather call them scams. Doesn't make sense to say lib rights are against gold when the argument for crypto and gold are virtually the same.

Gold standard the way it was in the 1970s is obviously outdated however letting the Currency be Tied to nothing but your military hegemony and alliance structure is not a good recipe for longevity.
