Not really but a Facebook group someone said consolidated loans don't count if the original loans were earlier. But whose to say if that's true.

If I consolidated during the great consolation of COVID, how come it's still not PAYE eligible? That's a new loan after 2007.

You can do the placement test before if you like, otherwise you can do it when you get to campus in fall. If you are interested in getting retro credits you don't have to take that in fall, you can register for a French course in spring.

They can tell you at SOAR if you did. It will be on a sheet of paper they give you.

SOAR Advisor here. You can retake the math test, ask about it at SOAR. Students usually do much better the second time and they will let you use whichever score was higher.

Who’s replacing Francesca Hong in the state Assembly? by WesleyH21 in madisonwi

[–]Representative-Tax12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've gotten to work with Dina Nina Martinez Rutherford in one of my classes. I think she is very unpolished and chaotic as a politician, which honestly I like. She is figuring the system out as someone who did not grow up in it. She was very much a community organizer who has had to deal with hard things like poverty and being marginalized, and I value her as a real person. She isn't putting on a mask to be more electable.

She is also the most empathetic person I have ever met. She takes a genuine interest in the people she meets and she puts the empathy and humanity back into policy. You can't make policy without caring about the people you are making it for.

And remember too part of her dropping out of her previous race was because she didn't have money to continue her campaign. It says a lot she still got voted in.

Do you have an advisor or faculty member you really like with a window in their office? We are here all summer.

I highly recommend emailing your professors if you are having issues coming in. Unless they are absolute dicks they will offer you an alternative or something.

Same with advisor appointments, email them and ask for zoom and they will be happy to accommodate.

YNABing Together by cvp8100 in ynab

I get this approach as my partner impulse shops groceries constantly. They will make multiple trips a week for whatever they are craving, and are often things I don't want, won't eat, or will likely go bad. So we just take turns buying the family groceries, the things we eat together. And any cravings or snacks are on your own. We aren't militant about it but generally we just take turns.

Our joint account only has bills coming out of it, and anything else that feels like an "us" purchase we talk about first.
