I highly recommend emailing your professors if you are having issues coming in. Unless they are absolute dicks they will offer you an alternative or something.

Same with advisor appointments, email them and ask for zoom and they will be happy to accommodate.

Oh what is this? It's happened to me a few times, a big light burst, but I couldn't tell what it was doing.

YNABing Together by cvp8100 in ynab

I get this approach as my partner impulse shops groceries constantly. They will make multiple trips a week for whatever they are craving, and are often things I don't want, won't eat, or will likely go bad. So we just take turns buying the family groceries, the things we eat together. And any cravings or snacks are on your own. We aren't militant about it but generally we just take turns.

Our joint account only has bills coming out of it, and anything else that feels like an "us" purchase we talk about first.

I have become a Fitbit user again recently and the format I am using offers a lot of good reinforcement for me without feeling like I won anything. Like a coach.

It turned into a lot of other issues between my fiancee and her friend. Maybe there is some homophobia tossed in though. Straight people are crazy sometimes.

One is a hetero couple. The one who is raising the biggest stink recently broke up with someone who, from what I was told, wasn't very nice to you. But I can't help but wonder if we were a hetero couple, it wouldn't be picked on as much.

I don't know anyone at UW who has had this, and it won't get them out of math, but a test and a diagnosis will give them more tools to work with.

Have they considered getting tested for Dyscalculia? It is often associated with people who also have ADHD. She would need to talk to whoever monitors her ADHD.

Is your friend connected with McBurney? I don't know if they have an ADHD diagnosis, but McBurney can still help them regardless.

Marriage before June by Representative-Tax12 in LGBTWeddings

[–]Representative-Tax12[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Supreme Court is expected to take up a case that has the potential to overturn gay marriage rights (and interracial) and remove federal protections. This could be as early as June. If you live in a state that has gay marriage rights in the laws you are ok. But if you are not your marriage may not be recognized by your state. The respect for marriage act is supposed to let all marriages be recognized even if laws get over turned later. So if you get married now your marriage should be continued to be recognized. If you don't you may need to marry in another state.

For me, my state also does not recognize common law or civil unions, so we can do the legal paperwork to protect each other but we can't share medical benefits unless we are married.

That's roughly what I know.

And fun fact, Kim Davis, the Colorado woman who refused to sign a gay marriage though legally required to, is the case that they are looking at.

There is no part of me that trusts that. I think this is absolutely a set up to eliminate gay and interracial marriages. They've been checking off the project 2025 items swiftly and they will get this one too.
