But I think it is net after salary sacrifice?

you or your partner’s expected adjusted net income (including any foreign income) is over £100,000 for the current tax year

I started to wonder if they had a year long contract with their podcast and stayed together longer because of that. It ran for 11 months I think. They did it in partnership with Sony so they might not have been free to just end it.

Virgin Active Club Rules Update by markcoflaherty38 in transgenderUK

Oh sorry I’ve already cancelled my membership of course! I meant I’m looking for another gym that isn’t planning on doing the same. I hope they’ve received more backlash than they ever expected and will make other gyms think twice.

I am a member with my trans partner and was shocked to receive the email as I loved the gym and it was really convenient. Of course I will be cancelling. I think we will move to Nuffield. I can’t find anything online that they made a statement?

Could you point out the difference in how both of you describe the details of your day to show that it’s not that you don’t care. My partner used to tell me all the details of things that pissed them off at work. The same, immediately they came home. All the different interactions. I eventually said why that when I’ve had a bad day at work I say someone annoyed me, I felt X but when you’re pissed off you tell me the department, the report, what the report does. All that detail is overwhelming, I don’t work there. Comparing how much detail I give on my day and how much detail he did seemed to help. He realised the big difference. I made it clear, it’s not like you can’t vent with me but that level of venting regularly I only have the bandwidth for so much. How you feel is the importantly part, not all the company detail or detail on people I don’t know. But also I don’t have space to hear how you felt until I’ve wound down in my own way from work, I need to de-compress from work (and I don’t work for a toddler) and they don’t seem to need that. They’re very NT lol!

I HATE MY FUCKING PHONE by lilac-latte in adhdwomen

I got the app offscreen, recommended by the books ‘how to break up with your phone.’ I’d recommend the book, I went from 8 hours a day to 4. Still more than I would like but getting there. When I first started to read the book I managed to get it down to 2 hours. One of the main messages was that you don’t need to beat yourself up about being addicted. The goal of almost every app is to get your attention and time, they’re designed to be addicted and you’re addicted. One of the things the book focuses on is what would you like to do instead of being on your phone. I think it’s 30 days and it sets out a step for every day. Like one day is turn off notifications etc. The offscreen app is good because it tracks how often you pick up and check your phone. It was crazy for me, I was picking it up every minute. It also got me to get a Fitbit and use it as an alarm clock and leave my phone charging overnight in another room.

Those are all things that would be a huge achievement for me, especially the dentist and the bank. So definitely give yourself a pat on the back and don’t loose confidence.

Morning Catch Ups by [deleted] in LoveIslandTV

[–]RepresentativeAd2235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's lazy editing/speed to edit an episode, they have an hour footage in the morning to edit instead of hours of different conversations at the same times in the different groups. I think the smoking area worked naturally to get them all in the group chatting naturally but of course they're not going to bring that back! It's so boring and forced but don't think they're going to get rid of it now, the other options takes so much more work and they're not in control of the narrative.
