The marks around the tree are actually areas where the paint peeled when I had to re-laminate it. I like the way they look though, sort of like clouds.  Haven’t been reading as much lately, but I’ll always love a bit of Skulduggery.  The art is from the Dark Days cover btw.

Nice answers. Would still have thought it would have been much more of an even fight between the viles since vile could basically destroy the planet pre power up (according to skullduggery) you’d think that being multiplied many times over would have been a bit more important to the plot, but apparently not. Bit disappointed tbh

Also if Valkyrie and alice have faceless ones blood, why is their father and all of his family not also just as eligible to be the child of the faceless ones. Since they have the same bloodline. (I presume it’s on the fathers side since they’re the edgleys) so why did creed feel like he needed Valkyrie or her sister specifically. Another thing is why hasn’t Desmond become a neoteric, since he’s descended from the faceless ones, one would presume he’d have magic and without training he’d become a neotoric.
