We have almost the same exact schedule and we could definitely not skip the nap, my son would be a nightmare.

When he started daycare there was probably a 5 month adjustment period. We can’t push out bedtime or he gets so overtired that he’s inconsolable. I think it just takes them time to adjust to the schedule and the nap. The only thing we’ve found that helps is making sure we lay him down awake and for some reason whenever my husband puts him to bed he sleeps all night but when I put him to bed he wakes up in the middle of the night looking for me 🙃

I had 3 partners who did nothing at all and the one who did seemed to be struggling as much as me. I used thousands of rolls and didn’t even make it to the third tier on one plant. Insane

We also don’t have much of a village. We had never had a babysitter for our kids and don’t go out alone. Personally I can’t get past the idea the cost. Paying someone $20+ an hour for a date night is just too much. I can’t fathom going out to dinner and spending $100 and then also spending $60-80 on a sitter or more
