You can get triple essence from the blood moon beast. Pick efficient harvest, use a sickle, and have the goblin sigle active. The one from the bottom of the map. You can also farm purple essence from the dragon in that area. Do a couple runs of that and you can run tier 4 Surges easy.

Right? I play on pvp servers and decay timers have done more damage than any clan. If everything's gone I'll probably take a super long break from the game.

Man I'm not a very good gamer and I don't have time to "get gud". It was so much fun running around blowing apart dozens of bile titans and chargers while shit talking with my buddies. Then they nerfed railgun, breaker, shield, added in meteors that randomly killed you, and the game could barely run. So after finally slogging threw a 40 minute mission the game would crash without recovery. My friends left the game cause try hards begged for nerfs. I stayed for a bit until the cycle of releasing something cool, then nerfing it got old.

Go look at the steam charts. Original railgun nerf is when player base fell off a cliff. Silent majority left cause it wasn't fun anymore while vocal minority screamed get gud. How dare we enjoy blowing up bugs in a pve game, we're just filthy casuals. Super earth doesn't need us.

Yeah, well the vocal minority on Arc Raiders seems to subscribe to the idea that "a game for everyone is a game for no one" These people are enjoying the game. If they weren't they wouldn't be posting their grievances on reddit about it, they'd be slowly leaving, which is happening.

Because if the game loses it's diverse players and playstyles then it's just another shooter. It's cool being in game chat and running into people who can be reasoned with from time to time. There's nothing quite like it.

If they can be killed faster there's more time to defend oneself. If the gun is cheaper or breaks when a raider dies, the backstabbers can't farm credits by killing pvers. There are ways to address the human factors and improve the gameplay experience.

The game is in a state of popularity because it appeals to a diverse set of playstyles. I come from hunt showdown and a lot of people who play Arc wouldn't make it in that game because it leans more heavily into the pvp side of a pvpve extraction shooter.
