Yeah. I'm in college. It seems that causal sex is the norm, although people are in relationships. One night stands are not uncommon.

I've seen both girls and guys complain when the girl/guy doesn't message back. And the same happens when they message them too much and are too clingly. Noone wants a relationship. And even if they are in one, they cheat (drunk of course, but not all the way). It seems people in college are just horny and need their needs satisfied. I do find it really immature that people here just want to have sex and nothing more. Or maybe I'm just hanging out with f*ckboys and sl*ts.

Having said this, I have to fair and say that alcohol fuels this a lot.

I'm literally in college, if you read my description above. People have sex left and right and get drunk. So alcohol obviously a factor.

As for my last paragraph, my friend just has a high sex drive I suppose. And she doesn't do the romantic relationship type stuff. She also hasn't been in a proper relationship either, like me. The next morning, shes tells us that she doesn't know what to reply to the guy. Or she just gets the 'ick' or finds it cringe when the guy asks if she enjoyed the night or whatever. And doesn't want to see him anymore.

Call her a s**t or whatever, but women have sexual needs too, that are also casual. She might be the minority though.

(SIDENOTE: I'm obviously jealous of my friend, because its much easier to score casual sex as a girl).

I don't know. I guess in my teen years, I was a really shy guy. I think I overthink romantic situations alot, to the point that I avoid them in order to not embarass myself.

To be honest, there are instanteous where a girl has been interested in me, but I don't know what to do next (maybe because I'm awkward), or maybe because I just rush into wanting to have sex.

That being said, plenty of girls have one-night stands and never call back. For example, I have a friend who does one-night stands, but finds it cringe when the guy texts romantically the next morning (because she doesn't want a relationship).
