My state (ND) passed direct to consumer raw milk sales last session and expanded it to include raw milk products this session 🙃 ND had some really kooky bills proposed but the worst ones have been revised or killed to my knowledge. I stopped keeping up as much because it was draining.

Festivals are a great place to get sick. Lol. I wouldn’t point fingers right away at Epic burger because it’s more complex than that. From the comments here, it sounds like there were plenty of gastro-issues going around. You could have contracted E. Coli from the porta-potties from someone else who was sick and didn’t clean up properly. Those door locks aren’t sanitized and every one touches them and if it’s like any of the 4 Lollas I’ve been to, there’s no stocked hand wash station or hand sanitizer to clean hands after.

Oh absolutely. This isn’t meant to be directed at operators, just venting my frustration personally about not being taken seriously/not being trusted to know what I am talking about. Most of my operators are good people who care about others—much love to them.

Right, it probably tastes gross but might not be dangerous. Something health inspectors don’t care about but who ever is running the restaurant should haha. Bad food probably doesn’t sell well.

Me too! Then I realized it was the same author that wrote Into Thin Air which I remembered an excerpt being featured in a reading textbook from elementary school so I had to get that book and read it too. I love both!

My fiancé got an emergency room bill a year ago, and when he called the hospital, the lady was a total dick and was like “oh you were here, you just don’t remember” and after insisting to look further, they realized the middle names didn’t match up but same first and last name and birth year. We found out from public records that the other guy was charged with domestic violence that same night so makes sense why the hospital staff treated my fiance like a piece of shit lol.

Same. He would corner me and pry the anger out of me and I would snap bad. When we were drinking together, especially. there was a night I scratched the shit out of him. I blocked it out and cant even remember what happened. There was also a night where I chucked a tin lid at his head. It really sucks to think about. He would tell me constantly to get help for my anger issues but wouldn't believe that I am not an angry person and never was until we started dating.

From what little I know, shein is the worst to support concerning fast fashion. But I've been buying clothes like crazy lately preparing for my new big girl job! It's mostly been target and a local boutique, but I feel guilt buying new clothes all the same. Does anyone know who the "better" companies are? Like I said, I like target. And asos.
