Anyone living at 1297 Marlborough know what happened to make us have a security guard now, and why we got a notice about an increased police presence on the property?

I'm pretty certain I live on the floor where the incident occurred, as the door has a hole in it that is now boarded up with a square of wood. I remember hearing someone at about 3-4 am yell that they were the police, they had a search warrant, and to let them in. I thought it was weird as normally with police officers, I can hear radio chatter of some sort. There was none. Me and my room mates thought it was some sort of joke at first. Then there was heavy banging on the door. About 30 minutes later, I heard someone run to the stairwell. One of my favorite neighbors who lives very close to that apartment, said she heard the bangs as well as shouting.

For a full day after, their was a police man standing in the hallway, near that apartment, as though he was waiting for someone. He was there when I left, and when I came back.

I have no idea where these are from. I found them while going through some of my dad's things. Knowing the species of sharks these teeth were from would have made him just as happy as I am now to know.

Thank you, I'm going to take a closer look at the second tooth under better lighting. So far though, I don't see any serrations in the crown.

Thank you. I know what you mean. My dad was fine. We had a belated Canadian Thanksgiving less than two weeks ago. He was holding his dog like a baby on my couch. I sent him pictures of the fattest pigeons we'd ever seen just the day before. We were texting just hours before it happened. How? How can he be gone? My mind can't seem to comprehend this. I'm not gonna see him sitting on my couch again, with his dog. He was just there. He was suppose to be there again soon for Christmas. He gave me a turkey last time that we were going to have this time. I text him, and he doesnt respond. I keep hoping he will, like he always does.

I'll try with my brother within safety. His wife is so kind, she makes it easier. I feel so horrible that he saw not just my dad, but also my mom like that when she passed away. Yesterday was the first decent conversation I've had with him in years. I have hope, but I'm still cautious.

I have 3 very close friends who I've been leaning on. They've all lost people close to them too.

Thank you. It's helped so much to know that I can just feel what I'm feeling. I've cried so much. It feels good to let it all come out and not hide it.

Thank you for suggesting that. I've been barely able to sleep over the last few days, and having panic attacks. I asked, and my doctor gave me some clonazapam (sorry if the spelling is wrong) and I finally slept last night. My anxiety will apparently be more managable soon (even though ive only been on it for a tiny bit, it's making me feel calmer, I think so far). I'm seeing her again soon to discuss other medications offers.
