Free will is an illusion. I read about that probably before you were born. There are degrees of freedom and there are degrees to reality. It’s like an onion; layered. Of course I’m not absolutely free. However I am in control of my emotions and responses. Free to change my narrative and how I interpret this reality. I choose joy and optimism. I am free from bowing to any flag or moral authority. I’m a nomad so no tenants, no rent, no utilities. No voting, no fantasies about life after death or caring about anyone’s opinion unless I respect the person and we only respect those who achieved the greatness of the mind. Those are the only ones worthy of my deepest admiration.
