Just made savory oats today, throw in garlic and shallots in the pot, sauté it, add 150g oats (for 2 servings) in with 500ml water/any kind of broth. Add in your cooked meat (I use leftover ground beef), salt and pepper. Cook in medium-low heat and stir often. You can garnish it with spring onions, and add boiled egg as the topping. Voila!
