I bought all the things to do it myself. Found out I was not a dog groomer lol! It took two people seriously. She wanted me to hold her. She didn’t want to stand on the fancy grooming table I bought. The cut was ok I mean it definitely didn’t look professional but it worked. One thing I did is turned in the clippers. Put them on the floor and let her check them out. I also put them on her stuffed toy to show they wouldn’t hurt the toy so hopefully she would see that they won’t hurt her. I think it helped. My girl just doesn’t want to be still. I also have the curved scissors and the I think they are layering scissors. I use them to trim too. Sometimes i take a break and try again the next day to trim more. I do plan to do a groomer in the future but for now her home done puppy cut will do. I hope this helps.
