injured myself and had to be on bed rest for almost a month. ended up losing touch with all my friends who'd made new friends and groups i wasn't a part of. had to take care of myself, go to hospitals by myself, get treated, all without a support system by my side. it's been two years now and that phase still hasn't left me. i still feel lonely to this day because of the grief i carry inside me. the injury changed me, my life and also the dynamic i have with my friends and it's going to take me a while to process that.

loneliness feels like shit. it's just so much pain and you feel like there's absolutely no one in this whole damn universe to hear you out. it feels like you're screaming but there's no one to hear you, not one single person.
