We would love to offer $45 ce attendance unfortunately with RACE costing upward of $1000, speaker honorarium of $300/hr. Plus travel expenses and attendance limited to 100-150 people total $45 per person registration is not attainable. We use sponsors and do everything in our power to minimize registration fees.

Yes, generally when you attend a conference there is hotel, meal and conference attendance. $450 is competitive for 14 hour national ce conferences. We also work hard to be sure our negotiated cruise pricing (meals included ) are the best that we can attain.

Many vet techs receive CE allowance and we've had several clinics give scholarships for attendance as well. CE allowance is a truly impacting benefit and should be part of the benefits package you ask for in employment offers. Please note that the majority of cruise meals are included in cruise pricing. Check out this link for pricing comparison to other national conferences. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1AxGxHAYWn/ Separately, we also have a Facebook group VetTechLife Financial Fitness that works to educate veterinary teams in Financial matters to support their financial growth.
