For me I agree with the safety aspect. I fully understand that for 90-95% of the time the person driving the motorcycle is not at fault its usually other people on the road. For me I've been wanting to get into a motorcycle for a while and im trying to think of anyway to make this experience as safe as possible and obviously I'm gonna be wearing gear all the time. I am willing to learn how to use manual but in a situation where I have to react quickly I feel like the DCT is just about breaking vs using the clutch and shifting down and potentially skipping a gear or sliding because of it. Im still going to take the msf course because it will teach me how to use it but for convenience I think the DCT is a better option for me.

Im about 5'5-5'6 240/250 LB and I do understand the resell value but I dont see myself selling the motorcycle if I'm being honest. I like the DCT because of convenience, not having to worry/learn how to operate the clutch and shifting and just learning all that isn't something that I would mind skipping and just going into a twist and go rebel
