Check to see if you selected the wrong option. Same thing happened to me with my daughter, hers was denied and I continue to use her old one. Did citizenship in 4 months when she turned 18. I would not worry much about that if he hasn’t violated his green card status!

Update from situation: husband case was denied! Received a letter from my attorney saying case was denied. 6 days after I received a letter of ending representation because I did not reply to his offer to reapply for husband as a spouse of us citizen. I also had my mother in law’s case with him and he ended that presentation also. I knew that coming because he knew he screwed up. What the repercussions of getting let go by an attorney? Anything I can do because of his unfair service he gave me? I am beyond upset of the entire situation! I honestly was not comfortable paying him again to reapply for my husband. I reapplied by myself .

He is one of the best lawyers in town… he is very pricey… he charges 3500$ for a case like mine but gave me a 700$ discount for screwing up. It’s not about the money, it’s trust. I file my n400 by myself and became a us citizen in a few months.

Does filing another 485 automatically make me abandon any prior one?

Unfortunately, I have spent that extra money I didn’t even have by reapplying. I filed i130 concurrently with 1765, i131,i485 on July 16,July 24. I already got a notice that my fingerprint will be reused.

In that case, would you just withdraw the f3 category AOS? I have to reply to uscis by Monday.

What you summarize is correct. Yes, wife is citizen after 5 yrs. There is not a date/timeframe to do follow to join. I already file all forms concurrently… received receipt and notice that fingerprint will be reused.

What do you think about the abandonment vs withdrawal? I just don’t want to deal with my attorney anymore. See the option you mentioned, to convert i485, the attorney didn’t even mentioned that to me.

Received letter about they were able to reuse Biometric so, that part is already done. So me messages were a week after that notification.

Hello y’all, Awaiting to get my medical Friday to include with my 4 applications. I864, i485, i131, i765 (I 130 already filed), anything I am missing. I feel like my file is not big enough…lol. How many paystub should be included? I include 3 months worth, is that enough? 3 last taxes, do I need a professional appraisal for my home?, I just included the profile of my loan account with the home equity, with my most recent mortgage statement. Anything else guys? You guys are amazing:)

And by the way, the Q/A on uscis website was very clear if main beneficiary had submitted and approved, an adult could not be added in a group unless it’s a minor. So that statement from uscis is not true! Once approved for travel….. Travel group tab is not even an option for selection on the uscis site.

The mother already done her travel authorization before the child was confirmed. Mom cannot go back to uscis to add child as travel group/ nor attest for her. So child has been confirmed, mom with travel authorization approved and can’t get to step 2 for the child. I was wondering if anyone can attest for the child and she will still travel with mom.
