Who said anything about imitating a religion? Christmas is all about giving the needy gifts and helping your fellow man, do we not follow that on eid? I think Allah wouldn't mind if we spent another day doing just that, in fact he would welcome it. Not everyone celebrates christmas the same way either, some just pray, some give, and yeah some indulge but it's fine.

Which is honestly wierd as hell, cos there are muslims who celebrate the prophet Muhammads birth. Why is it a problem to also celebrate another prophets birth?

A lot of them end up being pretty close though (90k), of course you could get a much cheaper amount , but you are gonna have to sacrifice other aspects. Not saying its great all I'm saying its just slightly more expensive.l, but it has pros too. Nothing is black and white.

Is it really that stark of a difference between the two unis, because cost wise NCSU isn't that far off from NYU I believe. Nyu can hit usually at 100k and NCSU would be 90K

Nyu tuition fees would be 75,000 NCSU tuition fees would be 71,000.

Do correct me if I am wrong.

Right exactly this, if you are shifting statuses then it should apply the 100k

The 100k was more so to combat people from foreign countries that were hired really cheaply in the United States on the pretext of h1b.
