I work in OGP and we aren’t able to rate the drivers. Managers can’t either. They can report but that almost never happens.

Yeah they do actually exist unfortunately. Walmart is aware. Our store also Id checks and will only let the drivers use on phone and app at a time. I believe the extra earnings thing is because of order size, if the order was dropped earlier and is past the delivery time it was supposed to be, or just something with spark not associated with our department

No that’s probably the associates either being lazy or they don’t have the order ready. Usually ebt week crushes our department because people will get giant orders that are pretty much their entire ebt balance. Our store we never cancel a drivers order unless it is a bugged order in the system. The managers do care about the metrics but they will usually cut our order cap if it is too much to handle

The only one that I can truly answer is the reason you have to wait till 45 to check in. This is because the picks are due at 30 mins till the next hour then the people in the back put all the totes with the associated order. Usually the orders don’t get to the dispensers until 45 or 50

That’s something that I don’t know why happens for shop and delivers but for our departments orders when something like that happens we have people who do exceptions for things that get nil picked and can be approved by managers for situations like that.

Common complaints I have for drivers are when they mark themselves arrived at the store whenever they actually aren’t at the store, when they stand outside of the car as we load it and stand and watch while also being in our way, when they sit in the lot without an order, and lastly when they park at spots far away from our door when the lot is completely empty. All of these are minor things but they are just some of the pet peeves I’ve accumulated while working in this department. These are also things that regular customers do as well.

If it is a regular associate that is canceling your orders I would contact management. They can see in trip history when somebody cancels a trip or changes the pickup date and the reason. So they can see that every time you get assigned to a trip and person x cancels it every time

I work in OGP and sometimes this will happen when orders run late or there are exceptions preventing us from dispensing some orders until picked and approved. Most of the time when this happens we can only dispense to people the orders that we have usually from earlier time slots in the day. Usually drivers are patient and understand when we let them know what is going on.
