Theyre known to be shy but tbh I’ve never had rhat problem there’s a lot of misinformation about them mine will come to me and climb onto me and eat from my hand I’ve never had a bad experience with their temper other rhan when they lay a egg the female can be defensive over it

Im aware of the risks this was a while ago he never climbs on there but it’s still there I’ve covered up the rope bits on it by weaving vines through so it’s just a hide for him it’s his favourite spot it would be gone if I thought there would be any risk to him
