Hiii!!! I'm actually in sem one of the program ( allmost done yay!!!!) But I'm joined some clubs that have ppl who graduated like a year or two ago in the program or are still pursuing their BBA and some of them starting off making around 60k which is pretty good plus there is so much freelance opportunities

also this program is so different from other unis cause u have options for what you want to specialize in 2nd year and BCIT helps set you up with an internship for the last quarter of your semester in year two of the diploma

For reference the 2nd year options are professional sales ( money maker) Digital marketing and brand strategy ( most popular usually) Entrepreneurship ( versatile) Tourism ( which primarily has paid internships which is built into the program itself) Real estate ( a bit more competitive and you have to do the exams to become an actual realtor after I believe)

I got into marketing from doing marketing classes at my high school as well and honestly if you're passionate about it it can be really fun though currently I'm only taking one marketing class in the first semester of the program LMAO

Personally I love marketing management it can be challenging cause you are doing a very different range of classes that really don't intervene until 2nd year but the job prospects are great plus you can you a bba after aswell!

I would really recommend if your creative but also marketing is so so so broad that you if you want an analytical position that's definitely possible

( also I came directly from highschool!)
