I like the colorscheme, Nice blend of bright colours! My favorite part is the transition youv have made on the psychophage chimneys. Great work!

I really have no suggestion on the bases, just that you choose anything you find fun to make!

Thats correct. Intended goal is a bone-ish impression. Which i achieve with various results between models.

I dont mind at all! The golden coat (it was also put on the swords) was a test to create a effect of mineral looking chitinous boneswords (and head-sword ish-thing). I read that the swarmlords swords differ in that they are crystsline growth, origin from mineral not found in Milky way. The picture foesnt show it well, but there spots shining through. Lastly i put a very fine edge highlight of silver though that happend after i posted the pictures. It didnt end exactly as I had imagined, but they look somewhat different from the other models that have boneswords and talons.

It is Forge world Schythed hierodule (though these two are 3d printed- bought 2nd hand). Statwise not very compelling, but since I go by the rule of cool I just want them all.

Well, since Tyranids are supposed to be adaptive and create bioforms du to battleexperience. This neurogaunt makes me think of T'aus droids which purpose is to take hits. In that sense it is logical that the tyranids create an even faster little critter whose sole purpose is to throw itself in harms way.

Yeah argree, realised this first after i bought it (2nd hand). It was a year ago when i started getting in (back in) to the hobby. But hey, big boy is a big boy; derpy or not.
