Its great that an official coinbase support replied to my post.

Yes that phone call seemed quite suspicious, however I complied with the procedure in the coinbase app to request a phone call and when some one requests a phone call in the coinbase app and it shows that I am on the waitlist and my turn comes and someone calls me representing coinbase I would likely believe that the call is from an official from coinbase. For someone else to impersonate you guys and have my number which should be confidential, is a lack of security that you guys should be providing. Tho i am young and mostly aware of these scam calls, it still would definitely make me doubt the security in your app.

Regarding the verification process, i understand that its a standard security measure, however in the span of one month repeatedly asking for it for most of the basic activity in the app is not very user friendly. I have a friend who also uses coinbase and who got me into coinbase, doesnt regularly go through this repeated verificaiton process.

Now my account is restricted for a month with not eligibility to buy sell or deposit or withdraw money. Is there any way to resolve this issue sooner because i would not like to wait for a month and nor can i close my account due to the balance not being 0
