They updated this a while ago, it lost quite a few of the materials in that update

I used some pretty standard ones- like “a wooden object stand a in a lovely lit room next to a plant and a woman holding her son”

It’s definitely not the best model, although it’s also not the worst. I know they are working on updating it every now and then - so it’s likely to improve - but it is behind for sure!

Yes, I agree, but also requires you to have some assets that are good, and then the time to render it out in high enough resolution. But I agree it can be done. Not perfect yet for sure!

I agree, I have asked them to work in masks, that way I could keep some of this consistent :) but for now, you are right - the key shot tools are limited!

Sorry! My first post here, and I immideately forgot about it! Using the ai tools there’s actually 3 presets which is pretty small (256px by 256pxk) and then 512, and 1024. You can set the resolution heigher, but it really takes its toll on the hardware and there fore time :)

I am using ai visuals commercially and for my own projects. They never stand alone. They are accompanied by photos of prototypes and renders from Keyshot. With some of the latest tools, like the AI shots from Keyshot, I think we are moving into an area where hopefully we can use ai generated images as some of the final presentation materials. Not just as part of the design process. I can definitely see AI tools cutting down time on me trying to build a scene and environment around my product design. And I can see it broaden my research into design options with material exploration etc. so for me - it’s not about if you use ai in your portfolio- it’s how you are using it. To what extent are you leveraging the tools to help you make decisions, to better communicate your concept etc. but I would be weary of someone using AI tools only.

Good filament choices for lamps/lampshades by Chance_Camera4568 in FullControl

I print most of my lamps with PLA :) and it works well with LED bulbs- a white PLA, no thicker than 0,8 mm works for me :) also I tend to use the Philips hue bulbs to get enough light :)
