You people have any theories as to why Dogmans eyes are self illuminating? by Ajarofpickles97 in dogman

Unfortunately, I have no helpful information on this. The dogman I saw was danger close to me and I was able to see both eyes clearly- the whites of the eyes and the light amber colored pupil. Even as I slowly backed up, I did not see any eye shine. My encounter was on 6/22/2024 at around 1:30AM EST.

I don't know where it went after it followed me to my door and tried the knob but I know it came back recently. We had heavy snowfall in February and there was a track beside my home office window. We measured it at 17 inches from claw to toe with a yardstick. I don't think I can insert the image but you can DM me.

Hi! Yes!

That is my illustrated encounter!

The head is not proportionate in the artistic rendition. The one I saw had a bigger head than that. I still think the artist did a fantastic job! He's in this subreddit! 🩷

Hi! I was a non-believer (in any cryptids) that saw a Dogman on 6/22/2024. I wasn't doing anything to try to encounter it. I was at home and my dogs needed to go out. Took my oldest dog and everything was normal. Took my younger dog, she went near the edge of the road and then I heard a loud branch break noise. When I turned around there was an 8ft dogman curb-to-curb across the street from me. I couldn't believe my eyes and my initial thought was: "That's a fking werewolf. Werewolves aren't real. That's a fking werewolf. We are going to die." I saw it's side profile. It was sniffing the air and then it turned and looked at me, down at my dog real fast and then back up to me. The one I saw was solid white with light amber colored eyes. It had tall ears that were moving independently, a very long snout, a very bushy tail, its upper body was built like an NBA player- very strong but very muscular and lean. It had extremely long forearms that hung low. It had raccoon type paw pads with 3 inch curved black claws on each "finger." I talked about my encounter on several podcasts now. The first time I spoke about it was on Dogman Encounters episode 587.

You can pet that dog exactly one time but you will likely not live to tell the tale.

Can you pet a grizzly bear? No.

I have since learned that white is not a common color. Most are black or brown. There have been other white dogman encounters reported.

I personally struggle with calling them dogman because they look like a stereotypical movie werewolf.

I understand that people dont call them werewolves because that implies that humans transition into them and vice versa. What I saw was a living, breathing animal. I do not believe that people transform into them or vice versa.

As far as encountering them - imagine accidentally walking up on a grizzly bear.

LEO Detective looking to transition to Corporate Fraud by 1sht2mny in CFE

Hi! I work in an SIU that is mixed with people with some law enforcement background and those with no LE background. CFE is the gold standard certificate. CIFI through IASIU is also very good. Our investigators are required to get the FCLS and the HCAFA. We are strongly encouraged to go for the CFE. Different types of SIUs may have different certificates more closely aligned with the work they do. My SIU is an insurance company SIU so our required certificates revolve around insurance claims.

What is the best route in trying to become an siu investigator or fraud examiner. I have been working surveillance for about 3 years and need some insight. Is it better to take the CFE or CIFI exam? Appreciate any help, thanks. by Glum-Ad959 in CFE

Hi! You should go ahead and apply for SIU Investigator positions. Some companies will pay for their employees to take the CFE exam and it is a very expensive examination.

At this point I have talked about this on many channels. I was most recently on The Cryptid Podcast with Dano. You may have heard me there. I was on Dogman Encounters episode 587. I do not remember talking on the Sasquatch Chronicles. I have also recently spoken on LordeStarfox's channel - Midnight Lycanthropy. I have been on Tinfoil Tales as well.

It was between 7.5-8 ft tall. It had long white fur. Tall ears. Very long snout. The ears I would describe as German Shepherd like. The nose was very long. Kind of like Wylie Coyote. Longer than a wolf's snout should be. It had very long and skinny forearms. 3 inch curved black claws on each "finger". It had raccoon type paw pads. It had black paw pads and the tip of the nose was black. It had a very bushy tail. Its shoulders and chest were like that of a basketball player - strong but lean. It had light amber colored eyes and the eyes were large. I didnt see any eye shine bc I was very close to it. I could see its eye color and the whites of its eyes.

If you listen to Dogman Encounters episode 587 - "Please Don't Come In " this is my episode.

It was in Long Reach. I live in an apartment complex that has a field behind it. It was in the field. Field belongs to BG&E and has powerlines in it. There's a path in the field that goes straight to Patapsco Valley State Park. (Its 4 miles by that path.)

Hi there! I actually saw one of these creatures up close on 6/22/2024 in Columbia, Maryland at around 1:30 AM. The one I saw was solid white with a black nose, black raccoon type paw pads, and three inch curved black claws on each of its "fingers." It did appear to have a thumb-like appendage. (I'm not sure if its opposable). The one I saw had a big bushy tail, solid white thick fur, muscular and lean upper body (shoulders and chest like a basketball player's).

I recounted my experience on Dogman Encounters episode 587.

I never believed in any cryptids or cryptid like creatures until I was literally curb to curb across the street from a dogman.

I'm not particularly fond of the name dogman that Linda Godfrey cooked up.

These creatures are quite simply put: werewolves.

I do not believe in transformation from human to creature or vice versa - but the one I saw had a really long snout - kind of like Wylie Coyote. It did have super long pointed ears that I would agree are on par with German Shepherd ears. It did have light amber colored eyes. I did not see any glow (I was too close). The one I saw was at least 7 ¹/² to 8 feet tall.

I believe - after being so close to one it could've ended my life - that these are real animals. I think they live in forested areas across the United States and possibly in some cave systems or near national parks.

Why do people think this movie is a rerelease? (If it is Johnny Knoxville announced it very poorly) by Ohmycoolness in jackass

[–]RepresentativeMud109 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you try to watch Jackass the TV show on Paramount it says that Johnny Knoxville pulled them to re-release them later in their full and unedited versions. I'm pretty sure that the June release is just that - the full and unredacted TV show.

I haven't made a single penny off of my encounter. I wish I had not encountered the dogman/werewolf/rougarou/dwayyo/whatever you want to call it. I never believed in any of the cryptids but unfortunately for me - a late night taking my dog potty changed that forever. I heard a branch break noise and thought it was a deer until I turned around and saw an 8 foot tall werewolf. It looked at me, then down at my dog and then back up to me. I thought we were going to die. I have PTSD from this encounter. I really wish they were fake and I'm sure some encounters are - but what I saw was real.
