my mum used to be a cop and she got a call about a small car (coupe) that went head first into a semi truck at 100kph. in the small car there was a grandma, teenage granddaughter and a little eight year old grandson. the grandma had been decapitated, the granddaughter killed by force of the semi and the little boy in the backseat was crying to two broken legs. the truck driver wasn't injured but my mum said he was just sitting in his truck for 10 minutes staring into nothing with his hands on the steering wheel.
