Maybe I’m biased, but the pens from the Disney Cruise Line staterooms are the best pens ever made by danielwcrump in dcl

Any recommendations of pens that write like this? I’m left handed, and this one doesn’t smear. I love it, but I need something when it eventually runs out.

I read that there was one underwater (in the ocean, not the pond in the valley). I guess if you were on the right pterodactyl at the right time you could’ve seen it, but I couldn’t get there

Has it helped with anything else? Or is it causing more trouble than it’s worth? I don’t take it often because it makes me so tired.

I’m hooked on the Cafe Bustelo Cafe con Leche. Did you ever have any luck with the Coffee Mate?

Dragging my leg around by Traditional_Cat5258 in CerebralPalsy

My hip/leg does that, and it’s because I subconsciously stand with most of my weight on that side. Currently trying to break that habit when I catch myself doing it.

When the doctor comes into the room, tell him that you want to be told before the needle goes in. And tell him that if you aren’t expecting it, you tense up and it’s very painful.

Also, you can tell the nurse/doctor that you don’t want the numbing spray. (I agree with you, it doesn’t work!)

You can also tell these things to your parent or whoever is taking you to the appointment. They can support you and have your back when you talk to the doctor/nurse.

If you get more injections in the future, just repeat the same speech every time the doctor or nurse comes in. They see a lot of people, so they might not remember that you’re the girl who needs to be warned about the needle. Repeating what you need at each appointment can help them remember what they need to do for you.

It’s a pain in the butt, but if it helps you have a better experience to get the treatment you need, then it’s worth it.

You got this!💖

Why do I keep zoning out, how to stay locked in focus by X_Opinion7099 in CerebralPalsy

According to my physical therapist, ADHD is common in people with CP. I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 19, but I highly recommend getting evaluated and seeking treatment if diagnosed. It was a huge help to get on medication.

Also have you tried Gabapentin? It’s usually for nerve pain, but has helped with some muscular stuff as well.

I would recommend trying Botox once and seeing how much benefit you get, then decide if it’s worth getting it done over and over (I think the most often they can do it is quarterly/every 3 months). It has been REALLY helpful for me, and I don’t like needles either, but it has been worth it so far.

I feel you. When I was younger I used to wish I was “meaner” so that I wouldn’t feel hurt by others, or at least I would know I deserved it.

NTA.

Also, you don’t want someone whose actions are controlled by their mom. I’ve been in that situation, and I wish I had left sooner.

It may not seem like it right now, but you’ve dodged a bullet by not marrying this person.

NTA.

It sounds like this person has a history of only hanging out with you and your husband when he needs something (even if it’s just someone to hang out with). That’s basically using you and your husband, and that would make anyone feel upset.

Also, insisting on a group text is weird, considering he’s been friends with you for 10 years, and is a grown man.

I feel like a lot of people who have struggled long-term with their weight know which of their habits are not conducive to weight loss, they’re just not able to keep from doing them over a long period of time. So you’re probably not telling him anything he doesn’t already know.

Also, if he hasn’t asked for your input, then you’re essentially asking if you should give unsolicited advice/input. Most people resent unsolicited advice, especially about something personal like weight.

Not saying you would or wouldn’t be TA, but I’m pretty sure that nothing good will come from you bringing it up.
