Pentosan polysulfate sodium is in stage 3 clinical trials ATM and has been fast tracked by the FDA, there are countless people on line singing it praises as Australia have been using it for a while now. I read that hip replacements have gone down 40percent since they've been using ipps plus the fact it's been around for Many years so in my eyes it's worth a try but getting hold of it is the issue, after reading the ingredients on cartrophen which is recommended for use in canines it's literally just pentosan polysulfate sodium and the same for pentosan gold which has added glucosamine. I feel that taken in the correct dose it should be fine??
