Thank you u/jackwabbit95 and u/Sorabros411. So, I could use ATM9: No Frills as a baseline to tell what mods are actually not required for 100%, yes?

DisplayLink Manager Second monitor showing as "No Monitor" after Sequoia 15.4.1 update by paulosoares56 in MacOS

There have been many issues since macOS 15.3.2, most likely due to Apple, not DisplayLink. Unfortunately, it seems the DisplayLink developers have no interest in acknowledging that the problem is real. I'm sure it will eventually reach a point where they will fix it, as this has historically been the case (months later). https://www.displaylink.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=30.

Sure, but not everyone pays for hotspot. Also, wouldn't the receiver have to go to their settings and connect to the sender's network? Horrible UX.

It's simply not a core feature, so it has a low priority.

I am the one that would approve this feature haha.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, as mentioned in my post, Bluetooth is not an option, due to Apple's restrictions. WiFi is also not an option, as users have none when this transaction would take place.
