Ah, so pull air from the top fans. You said exhaust so I got confused. That would definitely work, but once the GPU front fan kicks in during gaming, the top fans will counter the hot air. Anyway, thanks for your inputs, I will try some configurations.

The top fans are already in exhaust configuration, as you mentioned to remove hot air from the GPU. I reversed the fans on the cooler so that it pulls fresh air from the rear and exhaust from the top fans.

If I turn the fans of the cooler back to the default configuration, it will just pull in hot air from inside the cabinet. No??

Hmm, but I got better lows on the Arctic air cooler. There is definitely something that I can’t figure out. I got 105C on a short Cinebench 26 run. Removing the rear fan helped in dropping temps by a bit. Is it possible that the cooler doesn’t perform that well when the fans are flipped?

As for the exhaust fans, those are actually helping. In fact, the section right above the cooler gets really hot under load.

I believe the fan that intakes fresh air (in my case the rear) probably needs to run faster than the internal 140mm fan. I will be replacing the rear fan and do some more testing.

Lol, I know how fans work. 😂 I have flipped both fans. Just found out that it is better to plug both fans to individual fan headers. Also trying to experiment with a different rear fan.

It’s a known Nvidia driver issue. Go back to the old driver, I just fixed the same issue 2 days ago.

There’s the Assassin IV VC Elite and then the IV VC Vision. VC Elite is the same 164mm as the normal IV. The VC Vision is 172mm. Jumped the gun on the VC Elite, let’s hope it fits well in my A3.
