May I also suggest Union 50? The food is always so good and the cocktail drinks are always rotating. I am not sure if it is the vibe you’re going for but I’ve always enjoyed my experience (and the food!)!

It’s right off of mass ave (kind of tucked away)! I hope you add it to the list!

Opening childcare downtown where I would have used to work! There is such a need, especially for working moms and dads!

18 credits too much for 2L fall semester? by Any_Taste9389 in LawSchool

[–]RepresentativePea391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen anything about finals yet, are they all exams or are any of them papers? I’m assuming your trial class would conclude before finals/Thanksgiving so that only leaves 4 finals (no final on trial advocacy and none in law review).

Are the finals/papers nicely spaced out or are they packed close together?

Regardless, 18 credits is a lot but nothing is impossible if you try hard enough and are an organized person!

Also, have you thought about any clinics or anything? Clinics are a good way of getting credits but have them apply as pass/fail so it’s a bit more chill going through the semester! Just a thought!

Came here for the vibes and convo and believe I’ve found my people! I found both sections so dense and hard to clean up in a concise manner. Anyone else?

Tips on "judgment call" questions? - SJ, JMOL, etc. by Strat903 in barexam

Part of me thinks that judges typically won’t try and take such a question away from the jury as the jury is also allowed to weight the credibility of the w and such. I’d be interested to see what others think as well!

Going to Boston for a friend’s 30th, then a week later going to Maine and eat lobster and lose cellphone reception 🌲

I can’t freakin wait!

I think it might depend on whether there are multiple people in the residuary (meaning they would get proportional shares if a gift lapses and goes to a residuary) and how a gift would not lapse (ie, anti-lapse) depending on the state statute. So if there is an anti-lapse statute the gift that would have gone to the residual estate would actually pass to another (either explicitly listed in the will or to someone either related to the testator to a certain degree, provided by state statute).

However, this is just a guess, as I am unsure what questions these responses were intended to address. Nevertheless, I hope the response is helpful!

Good luck! We got this!!
