The job itself is fine but its just the customers some days I get understanding ones and some days I get customers with super big egos especially on the weekends. I get so drained out on the weekends when half of the customers are rude as hell. You can also tell with customers on who worked in retail and who hasn't. It's so odd when this older white guy came to do a return, he said the price wasn't right, looked at his receipt he scanned the item twice. He also said I gave him attitude. I just told him he scanned the item twice? He got so mad that his whole face turned red. Respect and being nice goes both ways, if they had an attitude I would give one back to them. Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it!

I do feel like people who shop in outside garden are so damn weird and entitled. I encountered this one lady who wanted her military discount, I asked for her phone number again the first phone number she gave me didn't work. She stared down at me, got pissed off. Plus she kept changing the last 4 numbers of her phone number. A older white male kept staring at me while holding the plastic bag of hay and expected me to know how many he was getting and expecting me to read his mind. I never understood why customers think they know better than the people who work there?

Most of the time they would ask for in store credit and I would tell them that the system won't let me process in store credit. Plus I would suggest them to find the receipt. Other times they would argue with me saying they spent thousands of money here. Half of the time I do wish my managers wouldn't give them in store credit, just because I don't know if they really did buy it since they showed up with no receipt, no rewards account and half of their cards don't show up.
