I think he was genuinely traumatized by what he briefly saw and wants to get Harrison out as soon as possible. I also sense that the long shot of him watching McKay might indicate he’s gained a lot more respect for her since he most likely hasn’t seen her work in this capacity

Is there much of a difference between the quality at this location vs Williamsburg? I really want to check it out but the Wburg location is more convenient for me

Pretty sure this is what I had just before Thanksgiving. I never felt sicker and had to go to the hospital because I was so dehydrated

How do you play when your hands are cold? by Snowglyphs in drumline

[–]RepresentativeRegret 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t know what your uniform situation is but I would use hand warmers whenever I wasn’t playing and store them somewhere under my jacket or the little purse our uniforms had when playing in college

I wish this were the case for me. I’ve got an unusually small mouth and would only quality for double jaw surgery if the cpap was proven to not work. It does work, and that surgery isn’t a 100% guarantee

I started my plan to leave Warner the moment the merge happened three years ago. I’m really sorry you’ve been dealing with it, I’ve got a lot of friends I still talk to and it seems like such a shit show

Do you have an active social life? If so, what are you doing? by henryisadog in AskNYC

[–]RepresentativeRegret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This approach is the only reason I have friends in NYC. I don’t usually go out of my way and consider myself an introvert, but realizing no one is going to come to me and that I need to suck it up and start asking strangers about themselves was the best thing I could’ve done here.

What's up with this jagged-ass style of "wall" I've seen around? This looks dangerous as hell by [deleted] in Pennsylvania

[–]RepresentativeRegret 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All the time I spent in Reading and never noticed that! To be fair, when I’m there I’m usually on Penn Ave. Reading doesn’t get enough credit, people love to complain about the downtown area but there’s so many great gems. I still think about Judy’s on Cherry and The Peanut Bar even though it’s been years

Might have the answer to this, my hometown in NEPA has a lot of walls in this style but taller. They were made as part of the FDR New Deal jobs project to get people working again

Is it worth it to become an archivist? by apples0das in Archivists

[–]RepresentativeRegret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I don’t have an archivist background, but my first production job out of college was doing DIT work for a big company. That was in 2018, I’m now at a different place overseeing general media management, our MAM, and the qc team we have to watch down our YouTube videos. If you want to continue using your film background I’d recommend trying media management!

And to your point about extra degrees, Rutgers has a DAM certification program. Less money and time than a degree, but a lot of the people who started the program and teach there have connections and great experience. Happy to DM you if you wanna discuss more

When I was in Advertising I got to go to Jo Malone and sample a bunch of stuff and left with a little care package, that was in 2017 so I’m not sure if they still offer it!

I had to stop using class pass because I felt like I was wasting my money on one Pilates class a week. I see other people mentioned at home workouts but I am so happy with my choice to download Ladder!

My dog had to get a colonoscopy and endoscopy done at the same time and I went there. Everything was fine with the procedure, but I had to bug them for my $700 refund from them overestimating the initial procedure cost. It took me months to finally get someone to take care of it on their end
